Additionally, as an individual recreational sport, rock climbing is an endeavor in which young people can continue to participate and enjoy throughout their entire lives.

The Horizontal Traverse Wall is an excellent way to introduce climbing to students of all ages and athletic abilities. They climb sideways rather than vertically! Climbing horizontally allows for more than one student to climb at a time. It is also relatively safe since there are no complicated belaying techniques involved and the participants are never more than a few feet off the ground.
